Well July continued where June left off, providing some of the most taxing weather conditions to photograph a wedding in. However, Rachael and Alex's wedding proved the exception. The rain started early in the morning and looked to continue throughout the day but just as Rachael and Alex came out of the abbey the sun broke through and shone down on them all afternoon. Someone was definitely looking down on the happy couple. Rachael and Alex were married at Worth Abbey in West Sussex which provided a stunningly modern backdrop to the ceremony. Their reception continued at Slaugham Place, which I had not been to before but will certainly be one of the venues I recommend to prospective clients, with flowers and the cake being provided by friends. The evening continued with dancing and bacon sandwiches.
A huge congratulations to Rachael and Alex and if you were a guest please click here to view their wedding gallery which will be available soon.
Rachael waits outside the Abbey and the rain doesn't diminish the smile.
